A course for individuals who work as managers in the health & social care and children & young people’s services in the health & social care sector. 

To achieve the level 5, learners must achieve a minimum of 80 credits made up of mandatory and option units.  All learners will study mandatory units and through discussion with the Assessor will chose from optional units that support the sector they are working in.  The qualification guides and assesses development of knowledge, understanding and skills in management practice within health & social care and children & young people’s services.

The Level 5 Diploma can be accepted as an entry requirement for a number of Higher Education programmes.
