The Gas Centre

Welcome to the Gas Centre at Redcar & Cleveland College

We provide specialist domestic gas training and assessment courses, designed to update the skills of plumbers and heating engineers and other industry professionals to ensure that gas work is carried out to meet all current standards and regulations.

We also offer a wide range of Water and Energy courses.

The centre is a BPEC (Certification Ltd) approved centre, staffed by fully qualified training and assessment staff who can offer advice and support as well as a relaxed environment in which to undertake training and assessment.

Peter Marshall the Gas Centre Co-ordinator, said: “It is essential that all professionals in the industry maintain their skills and certification. At the Gas Centre, we will provide all the advice and support they need in a relaxed environment, using, new state–of-the-art equipment.

It is supported by the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering, whose Operations Director Kevin Wellman said: “Education and training is vital to the plumbing and heating industry and forms an important part of each individual’s career development.

Redcar & Cleveland College is an industrial associate we have worked with closely for some time and we look forward to supporting and developing new initiatives for many years to come.
