BA (Hons)

An award of Teesside University delivered in partnership with Redcar & Cleveland College.

This is a course for teachers, lecturers, trainers, teaching assistants and other workers to develop knowledge of education practice and reflect on strategies to improve their professional practice.

The degree consists of five Level 4 core modules and one option module, and five Level 5 modules, giving a total of 120 credits at each level. The Level 4 modules are taken in year one, and the Level 5 modules are taken in year two of the programme.

Successful graduates may progress into a graduate teacher programme for teaching in primary settings. Graduates will also practise in a range of lifelong learning educational settings, such as FE colleges.
