Engineering, Process and Manufacturing Lecturing Staff
Redcar & Cleveland College has a very experienced team of lecturers with diverse knowledge and backgrounds, a majority of whom have worked in differing roles and levels within engineering, process or manufacturing industries, both national and international.

Our staff have expertise in all areas of engineering, including mechanical, electrical/electronic, process/instrumentation and control, fabrication, design and manufacturing engineering, with experience in designing and delivering a wide range of bespoke training programmes. In addition, we deliver BTEC qualifications at Level 3 and Higher National Certificates and Diplomas endorsed by Teesside University.

To support and enhance these programmes we have very close links with local industry in the North East. We are located next to one of the largest chemical manufacturing sites in Europe, which includes petrochemicals, plastics and speciality chemical manufacturers. In addition, we have a large steel manufacturing complex and nuclear power station based here on Teesside. To maintain these industries we have the infrastructure and support services from utilities and engineering companies with whom we have contacts to arrange visits.
