Tutorial support

All full time students at Redcar & Cleveland College will be allocated a personal tutor and are entitled to an effective programme of tutorial and individual review support.

The tutorial programme includes:

• Individual target setting and review of progress
• Careers education
• Careers guidance
• Library and research skills
• Personal development
• Social development
• Employment skills
• Celebrating diversity and equal opportunities

The main purpose of the tutorial programme is to enhance the learner’s learning experience and enable the learner to maintain an active individual learning plan.

Each full time learner will have one group tutorial in every four week period and there will be a minimum of four individual reviews during the year.

There will also be a comprehensive enrichment programme available to all students in the College.  Full details on this programme will be available from your personal tutor.
