Student Governors

Two Student Governors are elected to form part of the Board of the Corporation and attend all meetings held throughout the academic year. Students nominate themselves for the role and are elected by the Divisional Student Representatives at the College Student Representative Committee. Each Governor may hold their post throughout their time at college until the completion of their studies when another election for Student Governors will be held.

As well as attending all Board meetings Student Governors also represent the student body at events such as Remembrance Services, focus groups as well as regional and national conferences on key student issues. The Student Governors also form part of the College Student Representative Committee and report back at regular intervals to the Board of the Corporation.
