College rewards

Tutors can award Praise Postcards for students who show excellent standards in their work, effort, attendance and attitude. These postcards are sent to students at home and a copy is sent to the school. These Praise Postcards contribute to the selection of nominees and winners of the Shine Awards, which are presented at the annual Celebration of Achievement ceremony. 

Redcar & Cleveland College holds an annual Celebration of Achievement for its 14-16 students. Nominations for the Shine Awards are received for either Most Outstanding Student, Most Committed Student, or Most Improved Student each year and a winner is chosen from each curriculum area.
