Alice Hill

Student Recruitment Officer

Alice has always lived and worked in the North East and is very motivated to help our young people reach their potential. After gaining a BSc degree in Sport Coaching at Sunderland University and a PGCE in Education and Training, Alice consequently worked as a PE and Dance teacher. Following this, Alice began working at Redcar and Cleveland college and eventually became part of the Schools Team.

Alice likes that her job allows her to work with schools and careers advisors and, in turn, have a positive impact by helping school leavers make informed and exciting choices for their future. Alice said “There are so many opportunities and progression routes to consider and they can start with our wide range of courses!”

Adam Howe

Student Recruitment Officer

Adam joined the schools team as he is passionate about ensuring students are on the right college course that will allow them to achieve their desired career goals. Adam previously worked in student recruitment at Teesside University and as a Youth Worker. He said “Working in the Schools Team allows me to combine the skills I developed as a youth worker and in my role in higher education to really help school leavers choose the correct path. This role also allows me to utilise my business and marketing skills I developed through my university studies”

Kayleigh Manders

Student Recruitment Officer

Kayleigh is the newest member of the team and has worked within the banking industry for 10 years previous to this role. Kayleigh’s favourite part of working within the Schools Team is being able to speak with students and provide advice and options regarding their future. Kayleigh said “I feel that it is key to ensuring that the younger generation is able to achieve their ambitions and goals. To do this they need all the information made available to them so they can make an informed choice”
