Introduction

Today in the Construction Industry employers find it difficult to find good tradespeople and there is a very high demand for Construction workers across all trades in the industry. Redcar and Cleveland College will give you the skills to make you “work ready”.

What will I learn

Our level 2 course is full of practical sessions which are supported by theory units. You will learn how to fix dry lining and plasterboard products to internal surfaces, forming sand and cement screeds, positioning and securing fibrous plaster and understanding construction technology.

How will I learn

This course offers a wide range of practical content which is supported by theoretical sessions. You will also take part in work placements, enrichments and tutorials.

What's next

Once you have completed this course you could progress onto our Level 3 Certificate in Plastering or continue your learning by securing an apprenticeship.
