Introduction

Early Years Educators, and other job roles such as nursery nurse and childminders, are highly trained professionals who play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. You may work in a range of settings including full day care, children’s centres, pre-schools, reception classes and as childminders.

On completion of this apprenticeship you may be able to progress into a full-time role working in a range of early year’s settings including as a nursery nurse and childminder.

Additional Information

ENGLISH AND MATHS Apprenticeships require a good level of English and maths. Our initial assessment and your GCSE results will help inform us of your ability and what support we can offer to get you to the level required. If you do not hold the relevant GCSEs you will need to complete the Functional Skills qualifications as part of your apprenticeship.
