The Therapeutic Health and Care Wing incorporates:

• A fully equipped three bedded ward with interactive patient dummies and medication trolley to explore all areas of patient care
• A sluice and dirty utility for demonstrating infection control practices
• A clinic and nurses station to develop skills in confidentiality, observation, data protection and communication
• A reproduction training Ambulance and Emergency room to enhance understanding of critical care and rapid response
• The patient home simulation allows training for rehabilitation skills including ageing suits and occupational therapy aids
• A flexible teaching area which includes space to accommodate 25 in lecture-style seats so that practice and theory can be linked together
