This full-time programme delivered over two days and is a foundation degree for health and social care practitioners.
Level 5 modules: • Concepts and Practice in Health and Social Care • Public Health and Wellbeing • Understanding Research in Health and Social Care • Supporting Individuals with Specific Needs • Professional Development and Employability in Health and Social Care • Service Improvement in Health and Social Care
Learning will be classroom based with a variety of lectures, electronic resources, group work, presentations, discussions and debates.
You can progress onto a range of health and social care programmes determined by student’s own area of interest. Progression on to the final year of the degree programme (level 6, Top-Up) or employment within health and social care, particularly management roles or an associate practitioner.
The programme is assessed through course work which includes essays, reports, case studies, presentations, and research reports.
