Introduction

A team leader/supervisor is a first line management role, with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. They provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals.

During this apprenticeship you will learn more about: • Supporting, managing and developing team members • Managing projects • Planning and monitoring workloads • Delivering operational plans • Resolving problems • Building internal and external relationships

On completion of this apprenticeship you may be able progress into roles Supervisor, Team Leader, Project Officer, Shift Supervisor, Foreperson, and Shift Manager.

ENGLISH AND MATHS Apprenticeships require a good level of English and maths. Our initial assessment and your GCSE results will help inform us of your ability and what support we can offer to get you to the level required. If you do not hold the relevant GCSEs you will need to complete the Functional Skills qualifications as part of your apprenticeship.
