The Education Training Collective is one of the largest deliverers of the King's Trust Team Programme in the North East.  

Over the last 24 years Redcar & Cleveland College has supported approximately 4,000 young people though the Team programme delivered in Redcar and at community locations across the North East. 

86.3% of the young people participating in the TEAM programme at the Education Training Collective progress onto positive destinations: employment, further education, training or volunteering.

The King's Trust TEAM programme is a 12 week personal development course aimed at young people aged 16-25 who are currently unemployed. The fast paced, dynamic course focuses on progression and employability with the view to moving young people on to positive outcomes.

In July 2015 we were awarded with the North East Delivery Partner Award to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Trust’s 12-week personal development programme “Team”

The Etc. King's Trust Department are winners of a Silver Pearson National Teaching Award: 2020 FE Team of the Year.

Our award-winning 12 week programme offers work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects and a residential week. By the end of the programme, work skills and leadership skills are developed as well as confidence and motivation, designed to enable young people to move into work, education or further training. Our programmes are offered at a variety of centres throughout the North East including Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Bishop Auckland and Darlington.

The course involves young people from all areas of the local community and engages the young people in projects and challenges within their community. It is available at Levels E3, L1 and L2.
