Introduction

The supply chain involves working with a number of key people including customers, retailers, whole sales, manufacturers and raw-material suppliers. You will be involved in the coordination of the supply of products to ensure that your organisation does not run out of available supply.

What will I learn

During this apprenticeship you will be primarily responsible for managing the movement of goods for a variety of customers across all sectors, and as such their customer base will range from large global organisations to sole traders and private customers in local areas, depending on their organisation. You may be required to work in shifts, for example overnight or working on weekends.

What's next

Careers within the supply chain vary dependent on the size of the organisation.
