What will I learn

On our pipefitting course you will develop theoretical knowledge in health & safety, basic power tools/ hand tools, pipe bending and pipe fitting. Along with practical training in fabrication and installation of pipe spools, reading and creating isometric drawings, gas cutting, abrasive wheels, and pipe spool quality testing techniques.

How will I learn

This course will include a mix of theory based learning in classrooms, and practical learning with local and national employers.

Additional Information

Full-time 16-18 year olds who do not have a grade 4/C or above in maths and/or English, will attend weekly sessions with specialist tutors to work towards the relevant qualification(s). This is really useful to support you on your main course and is really valued by employers.
