Introduction

The T Level qualification in Maintenance, installation and repair for engineering & manufacturing technologies in a Mechanical specialism, is a two year full-time course which has been designed in partnership with employers that is aimed to give you the technical knowledge and skills to support you to move into a career in Engineering. Each T Level qualification also has a requirement for at least 45 days work placement in the relevant industrial sector with an employer-set project.

What will I learn

This course will teach you key industry skills including robotics, programmable logic control, hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as the principles of mechanical engineering.

What's next

On completion of this course, you can progress into employment, higher apprenticeships in the engineering sectors or university to study Engineering or other related degree programmes.
