What better way to raise money for a good cause than indulging on a few sweet treats.
That is exactly what students and staff at Redcar and Cleveland College did today as they joined the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
With donations of cakes and goodies coming in from across the College the money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Helping to organise the event, marketing officer Connor Kerr said: “It was great to be able to support such a good cause and all of the staff that took part really raised their baking game."
Staff from every department played their part baking cakes, donating goodies or splashing out on a mid-morning snack.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s largest fundraising event for people facing cancer. People are invited to host their own coffee morning with all donations going to the charity. Last year the event raised more than £27m nationally.
Thanks to all who took part today. The national event takes place this Friday. For details about organising your own coffee morning visit: https://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/
