Introduction

The AAT is recognised throughout the business world as a credible and established professional body. This is a course for Trainee Accountancy Technicians and those individuals who have an interest in pursuing a career in Accountancy.

The course covers: • Business Awareness • Financial Accounting, preparing financial statements • Management Accounting Techniques • Tax processes for businesses

How will I learn

You will take part in classroom-based learning supervised by a tutor: e.g. classroom teaching; working through real-life scenarios that support this learning. There is an expectation that you will also commit to additional learning outside of college that will help under pinning knowledge for this qualification. Your tutor will also provide tutorial time to ensure you are on track assessment task and support you in completing the unit examinations.

What's next

On successful completion of the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting, students may progress to the Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting. Or you could be officially licenced and regulated by the AAT to practice in VAT, Payroll or bookkeeping.
