Childcare

If you want to encourage children to learn and develop, you could have a bright future in this sector. Our range of courses offer progression from CACHE Level 1 through to BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to 3 A Levels and a route into university). You could go onto a successful career in the following professions: child psychologist, play worker, social worker, nursery nurse and early years professional.

Engineering

This course has been designed to involve you in a broad range of engineering disciplines allowing you to decide which area you would like to focus on for your future. electronics engineer, food scientist, marine engineer, technical surveyor, TV or film sound technician, textile production manager.

Building Studies

If you are interested in how buildings work and how building projects are managed then this course is for you. You will gain the skills and knowledge needed for employment in the construction industry and higher education.You could go onto a successful career in the following professions: architect, building surveyor, quantity surveyor and civil Engineer.

Public Services

If you’re constantly seeking the unusual, have a sense of adventure and varied working conditions appeal to you, a career in one of the Public Services could be just what you need. We offer courses from Foundation Level progressing up to BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to 3 A Levels and a route into university), which give you the opportunity to develop the skills and abilities that are important for a successful career in any of the Public Services. You could go onto a successful career in the following professions: armed forces, police, prison service, fire service and ambulance service. There are also opportunities in the private sector.
