Three Redcar and Cleveland College students have been rewarded for their hard work and dedication this term, by Sam Beel, Course Leader of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Each term, Sam honours a student who has demonstrated a first class work ethic and attendance record.  The winner receives a £10 Google Play card and a £10 voucher, whilst two runners-up win a £10 voucher each.

Sam explains:

“This term’s winner is Cameron Trewhitt, Level 3 Computer Science, for never being late, always attending, and consistently working hard and submitting good quality work in every lesson/unit.

“Runners-up prizes were also awarded to James Douglas, Level 1 IT and Lee Whitehead Level 2 Computer Science, who both have excellent attendance and give their best in every lesson.”

Cameron, James and Lee will now be entered into the student of the year category, with other term winners and runners-up, which will be announced at the final award ceremony at the end of the academic year.

Sam added:

“Well done to all our students so far this year - for working hard and making such a promising start in their studies.”
