Here at Redcar & Cleveland College, we understand that you may need a helping hand when studying, letting you focus on your studies.

Free college meals (if in receipt of an eligible benefit)
Help towards childcare costs when you are in college
Discount on any kit, equipment, trips and visits deemed necessary to complete your course
Free bus travel to and from college during term times. Please note there is a £5 administration charge per term for students travelling by bus. (Some students may have this cost paid by bursary funding depending on eligibility).

All students must complete a bursary application form before they can be considered for any of the above support.

Information for students who travel using an Arriva bus pass

Termly Charge – Ways to Pay
There is a termly £5 charge for bus passes. You can pay by cash or card Monday – Friday during term-time.

If you are not eligible for bursary support, please speak to your Student Support and Wellbeing Officer for more information on where to purchase your travel.
