14-16 provision

Explore the different pathways we offer for young people who would be in the school year 10 and year 11 at Redcar & Cleveland College.

Year 10's

For young people in the school year 10 we offer The King’s Trust Achieve programme, developing those fundamental skills needed to develop self-esteem, team building, problem solving and communication skills.

Alongside this, taster sessions can be offered to try out vocational subject areas to support progression into the next academic year.

The college offers a range of support services to assist young people in making the transition into further education and opportunities to engage in wider enrichment activities within the college environment.

Year 11's

At Redcar & Cleveland College, we offer a wide range of Level 1 vocational qualifications for young people who would be in the school year 11. These courses are the perfect next step into further education, supporting young people to develop confidence, communication skills and vocational abilities in a subject area from a range of courses.

Year 11 learners will be offered the opportunity to study functional skills English and maths alongside their chosen course.
