You will be assessed through:
- Level 1 & Level 2: Examination online or paper based (externally assessed)
- Entry Levels: (internally assessed and externally quality assessed).
Students can progress through levels from Entry Level to Level 2. Level 2 provides good opportunities for progression to the new 9-1 GCSE in Maths or an FE or HE course that requires a Level 2 qualification in Maths.
No formal entry requirements are necessary. All learners will be required to take an initial and diagnostic assessment to establish working level which will be arranged at enrolment.
This course can also be studied online.
The Functional Skills Maths Course will consist of a one 2 hour classroom lesson each week. There is the option of either a day or evening class. You will be asked to complete homework on a weekly basis, however online resources and lessons will be available to help you.
