Course overview
This qualification aims to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge that is required by employees to work in a range of different environments within a customer service role. Learners will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks, such as how to manage information and support events. Learners will also learn how to apply their knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles.

Understand Customers.
Understand Employer Organisations.
Understand how to Communicate with Customers.
Understand how to Handle Customer Information.
Understand how to Resolve Problems and Deliver Customer Service to Challenging Customers.

Course information
Assessment involves completion of relevant work booklets or online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes, use as APL for QCF qualifications where appropriate and use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
To be interested in progressing to a customer service role or to want to develop current customer service skills.
