Course overview
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.
This course will combine both practical and theory sessions to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours in client care, providing facials, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, waxing, manicure and pedicure treatments, nail art and salon reception duties. You will undertake practical sessions within our industry standard training salons, as well as providing treatments
to customers in our onsite Mosaic beauty salon.
Course information
Develop your skills further by completing our Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or secure an apprenticeship.
Four GCSEs grade 3 or above or a level 1 qualification in a related course.
You will be required to purchase a beauty kit and uniform which will consist of a combination of tools, materials and equipment required to practice your skills both in college sessions, as well as outside of the classroom.
This course offers a wide range of practical and theory sessions which are delivered in our specialist salons and classrooms.
In addition to this you will also take part in theoretical sessions, work placement, enrichment and tutorials.
