Achieve Programme

The King’s Trust Achieve Qualification provides personal development programmes for young people aged 16 – 19.

What is the Achieve Programme?

These flexible and interactive units support young people in developing the skills and confidence needed to progress into a positive future. Activities and study focus on Enterprise, Digital Skill, Personal Project to name a few.
The Achieve programme promotes a flexible approach, using relevant, experiential learning to support young people to achieve a range of personal and employability skills and gain qualifications. Young people work together as a group on practical learning projects, which are designed to boost their confidence, improve self-esteem, attainment, behaviour and attendance.

  • Career planning
  • Interpersonal and self management skills
  • Managing money
  • Participating in sport
  • Planning for personal development
  • Preparing for a healthy, active lifestyle
  • Presentation skills
  • Supporting others in the community
  • Teamwork
  • Undertaking an enterprise project
  • Work experience

Achieve start dates

The Achieve programme starts each September at Redcar & Cleveland College and Stockton Riverside College.
