This qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death and the loss and grief process.

Understand how to Provide Support to Manage Pain and Discomfort.

Course information
Assessment involves completion of relevant work booklets or online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes, use as APL for QCF qualifications where appropriate and use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
The course is for individuals working in, or intending to work in, healthcare and social care who want to gain the knowledge and understanding of end of life care to support their role.
