Course overview
This course is developed for trainee technicians and engineers, designers and production personnel working in a manufacturing or process environment within the chemical industry. It develops key underpinning knowledge, skills and understanding associated with in the chemical plant and process plant operations.

Course information
You can progress towards a degree programme in chemical engineering, which is currently being offered at Teesside University.
You will need a GCSE (grade 4/C or above) in English, Maths, Chemistry or Physics, plus either (A Level, BTEC ND, Access, IB).
You are required to complete two pieces of assessment in each module which can be in the form of written assignments, laboratory reports, time-constrained assessments and some vocation-specific modules carry an end of unit examination.
