Our Level 3 Extended Diploma will provide you with in-depth knowledge and skills of the health and social care industry. You will learn about empowerment in health and social care, protection, anatomy and physiology and dementia awareness. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills on our trip to Romania and also complete a work placement during the course.
Course information
On completion of this course you could look to pursue a range of careers such as an: paramedic, nurse, midwife, radiographer and occupational therapist.
4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or
above including English and maths or a level 2 qualification in a
related course.
MATHS AND ENGLISH:
Full-time 16-18 year olds who do not
have a grade 4/C or above in maths and/
or English, will attend weekly sessions
with specialist tutors to work towards the
relevant qualification(s). This is really useful
to support you on your main course and is
really valued by employers.
This course offers a
wide range of practical and theory sessions
which are delivered in our specialist health
and social care wing and classrooms.
In addition to this you will also take part
in theoretical sessions, work placement,
enrichment and tutorials.
