Are you looking to take on your own challenge this spring?  You could join the Tees Heritage Walk for a registered charity of your choice.

Redcar and Cleveland College and Stockton Riverside College, both part of the Education Training Collective, are among the organisations supporting this year’s fundraising walk organised by Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary.

Choose your route from one mile to a whopping 12.8 miles, along the banks of the River Tees starting from Middlesbrough and taking you all the way to Stockton’s Millennium Bridge and back.

As well as enjoying a stroll along the riverside, those taking part will be given the chance to learn about the river’s industrial heritage, with IT students from Redcar and Cleveland College helping to create the information resources lining the last leg from the Tees Barrage to the Millennium Bridge.

Taking place on Sunday May 12, registration starts from 8.30am. Entry costs £5 or £10 for families with all children under 16.  All those aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
