Introduction

The Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments is a beauty aesthetic qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add a range of Advanced Aesthetic Treatments to their repertoire of treatment offerings and proceed to employment as a level 4 Aesthetic Practitioner. This qualification is informed by employers and national and international standards for aesthetic beauty and developed by technical experts. It includes all the required elements to work effectively as a fully commercial aesthetic practitioner.

What will I learn

To complete the VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments students must achieve the following units - Principles, practice and ethics of advanced aesthetic therapies - Investigative consultation for advanced aesthetic therapies - Skin science for advanced aesthetic therapies - Provide cosmetic skin needling treatments - Provide skin peeling treatments - Enhance appearance using dermaplaning techniques

How will I learn

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant principles and practices and advanced and safe skin care protocols for a bespoke selection of aesthetic practices. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice. This is both a theory and practical qualification where students will be required to complete treatments on a range of clients.

Additional Information

Be involved in working within our commercial salon. This programme will require real-working environment time within our on-site commercial salon, Mosaic. You will conduct treatments on paying clients using the methods and techniques learnt within the theoretical side of the course. You could also have the opportunity to attend Beauty seminars and conferences such as the Beauty Expo in London.

We are the only College within the Teesside area to deliver the full Level 4 Advanced Aesthetic Treatments qualification.

Tutors have excellent, up to date knowledge and experience, with many currently owning their own salons, conducting the treatments learnt within this progamme.

Brand new Silhouette machines have been purchased, specifically for this programme delivery.
